Aubrey Ashbaugh is a born and raised New Mexican: she’s a Laguna Pueblo Native, born in Albuquerque, raised in Grants, and currently lives in Albuquerque.  Aubrey has always had an interest in photography and gained experience in the field after being staffed as a writer and photographer by her hometown newspaper, the Cibola County Beacon. She graduated from Grants High School in 2006 and attended community college at New Mexico State University-Grants Branch.

Aubrey is an artist as well as an art enthusiast, specializing in acrylic paint and chalk pastel. Some of her work can be seen in Fusion Gallery, located in Grants, NM.  She travels frequently with her beau of ten years and their seven year old daughter.  She enjoys traveling and camping in Southern Colorado and New Mexico, visiting the wonderful, mountainous landscapes with her family as often as possible. She works on her own art and photography in her free time.
